What is the book about?

There are seven short stories that all have a completely different theme but all starring Alex Rider. Alex Rider is a spy and he works for M16. In each story he is given a mission, like one where he has to stop someone making a bomb. In one, his Christmas holiday surprisingly becomes a mission.

What was the best the best part of the book?

I didn’t have a favourite part – I liked it all.

What did you like about the book?

I liked that Alex never failed when he went on a mission. The missions were exciting and I really wanted to find out what happened.

Who would like this book?

I think people who like suspense and adventure would like this book. There were a few words I got stuck on, so maybe kids a little bit older than me.

How would you describe it in two words?

Scary and surprising
