Book review: The Younger Wife by Sally Hepworth

There is something addictive about Sally Hepworth’s books, and it was no different with The Younger Wife, especially when listening to the audiobook.

The story is told from the perspective of the daughters of a charming father who decides to marry a far younger woman while his wife is in a nursing home suffering from dementia.

Unsurprisingly, the daughters are skeptical of this interloper who is marrying their heart surgeon father.

While all of this seems quite straight forward, of course, as is the case with Sally Hepworth’s novels, all is not as clear as it might seem.

This book is a fun, easy read and definitely entertained me as I listened while cleaning the house or exercising.
